Welfare

As football’s governing body in England, safeguarding is a fundamental aspect of The FA’s role – and that of its affiliated members.

As a club, we have a duty to ensure the game is safe, positive and a fun experience for our children, young people and adults who regularly play, watch, coach, referee and volunteer.

Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility but we have a Club Welfare Officer (CWO).  If you need to contact them, please email [email protected].

You should also be aware RESPECT which is The Football Association’s direct response to a clear message from the grassroots game.  RESPECT is aimed at helping us all to work together to change any negative attitudes and unacceptable behaviour on the side-lines.  Poor behaviour by coaches, parents and players can often lead to players dropping out.
